Ornamental Pruning

Shrub care is vital to keeping a landscape attractive and also provides safety and security. Our crews are continuously trained in pruning as well as corrective and rejuvenative pruning which we have been promoting throughout the past several years. Many plants naturally want to grow larger than the environment that they are planted in and it is difficult to maintain them over the years as they yearn to be larger. We have established a procedure through the winter to aggressively prune these plants removing the dead, twiggy wood in the middle and turning them into more healthy, attractive, and smaller forms. This sometimes seems severe, but we have learned it's the best thing to do for the plant as well as the looks, safety, and security of the landscape.
